Use clay-bar or solvents
Q1: I own a black Renault Laguna. Recently, it had white paint overspray all over as it was parked near a house that was being painted. The overspray has been removed from the paintwork and windows. What is the best way to remove the overspray from the plastic trim and moldings?

You can try removing it using industrial solvents or by picking up a clay-bar which will be quite effective.
When the car is wet, gently glide the clay-bar over the affected surface and it should pick-up the overspray (do not re-use the clay-bar on other surfaces). Repeat as necessary.
When completed, give the car a proper wash and you should be good to go!
Q2: Does anyone sell a cordless polisher in Malaysia? I'm aware cordless buffers are available.

Depending on your requirements and expectation, cordless buffers wouldn't have sufficient torque and load ratings for anything more than a wax/synthetic sealant application, much less a cordless polisher.
Presumably, battery life too would be an issue when you are working on an object the size of a car. Comparing with the cost versus benefits, it wouldn't be something I would recommend.
